Finding Time for a Second Life
Virtual worlds like Second Life certainly aren't everyone's cup of tea, and lots of people have trouble seeing the point of it all. These are still early days on the virtual world frontier. Who knows what it will be like by the time the next generation, raised with online programs like Club Penguin and Webkinz World, log in as adults. By then virtual realities will be old hat to the majority.
In the meantime there are plenty of people intrigued enough to log in, create and avatar, and go explore. If you are so inclined, beware! Second Life can drain the time from your real life faster than a season-long DVD of CSI.
